Since militaries are authoritarian, even in democratic countries; What would a military of a stateless/anarchist society look like?
  • Militaries are necessary for each community self defense, because stateless society means communities, and there is nothing in that concept preventing raider communities from existing and try to live off stealing/murdering other communities. It's literally ancient history, before countries existed. What we call crime today is not always rooted on necessity, a post scarcity non authoritarian society doesn't suddenly eliminates bad people trying to take advantage of others because is easier than doing your homework. Or fascists trying to impose themselves to others. Those people, they get the bullets.

  • ZLINQ - A zero allocation LINQ rewrite, with added support for Unity and Godot scene hierarchy, that has a drop-in replacement support.
  • Kissaki provided a neat list. Of those I've used UniTask extensively and is a game changer. It's a must have if you are using threading, as it forces single threads on platforms where is unavailable, without compromising performance in the others. We have a game on iOS and Android, with a lot of threading work involved to load bazillions of things, but webgl doesn't support threads, so adding it as a platform presented an interesting challenge. Switching our threading to UniTask instead of native Tasks makes it possible to not change our code or having weird #if UNITY_WEBGL flags scattered around virtually everywhere to toggle threading. And the zero allocation tasks are awesome. And it has a lot of interop and extensions to neatly integrate with Unity better than the native tasks, while not breaking the native interface.

  • Crimes against breakfasts
  • I'll pick a bowl of cornflakes, OJ, and diced fruit for breakfast whenever I can.

Cornflakes can be combined with a lot of things better than suck ass milk. You don't believe me? My favorite summer snack? A bowl of cornflakes with fresh tomatoes, olive oil and spices. Fuck you all dairy supremacists.

  • What method do you recommend to download Android apps outside Google Play?

I'm looking for a certain app, that looks like it has been unpublished from GP. Googling points to a bunch of sites that I know nothing about and that could be full of stuff.

Any recommendations on good sites to do this?

For anyone curious, I'm trying to download Lightbot and others apps from the same developer aiming at teaching programming to kids.
