Tangent: I swear by orange juice in coffee instead of creamer. It deals with the bitter coffee taste by just making it Very Taste. It doesn't taste good, quite the opposite. (My fiancée accidentally tasted my coffee once and immediately puked.) But it certainly does taste
Post this on Facebook. I've learned that everyone on there fucking hates Ramsey because she's a little odd looking and was cast to play a teenage character (Ellie) who they really wanted to fuck, I guess.
Honestly, i did this with muesli and apple juice for years. Only thing that stopped me was finding out how awesome and cheap i can make my own oat milk at home with and the ridiculous sugar apple juice added.
OJ is kinda tangy though, that wouldn't work... Apple was far mellower
Once upon a time when I was still in probably about middle or high school, my mom for some reason got a bug up her ass about how much milk we were using and decided she would go on "strike" and stop buying milk.
So one day I came downstairs and poured myself a bowl of cereal. Finding no milk in the fridge, I just kind of shrugged and grabbed a 2L bottle of root beer and poured that over my cereal while she watched.
Her strike ended really quick after that.
Root beer cereal wasn't terrible. I can't remember exactly which cereal it was, but we usually had fairly plain options, Cheerios, corn flakes, Chex, etc. usually nothing frosted, fruity, etc. I wouldn't exactly recommend it, but if you ever find yourself contemplating soda as an alternative cereal liquid, I do think root beer is probably your best bet.
One time when I was single, I poured myself a big bowl of rice crispies, only to find that my milk was sour. I was really annoyed - then I realized I had apple juice, so I poured that on instead. It was a little on the sweet side, but it actually tasted pretty good.
She eats cereal like she's actually living in the last of us. I wonder if she also eats cold, expired beans directly out of a can she opened with a hunting knife
Using juices instead of milk for cereals is a completely different experience but IMHO doesn't taste bad. I go with oat milk in 80% of the cases, but also use orange/pear/apple/... juice from time to time. Especially in summer, it feels lighter and more refreshing.
Maybe they just don't like cow squeezin's. I've actually done this before for precisely that reason. Milkis a raw ingredient waiting to be turned into cheese, cream or yoghurt. It's not supposed to be consumed as is. And soy milk tasted like weirdly astringent bidet water.
I'll pick a bowl of cornflakes, OJ, and diced fruit for breakfast whenever I can.
Cornflakes can be combined with a lot of things better than suck ass milk. You don't believe me? My favorite summer snack? A bowl of cornflakes with fresh tomatoes, olive oil and spices. Fuck you all dairy supremacists.
