Excessive drinking linked to jump in high blood pressure deaths during COVID pandemic, CDC report says
A new report from the CDC shows a jump in high blood pressure deaths linked to excessive drinking.
The data collected wouldn't be able to tell, but I'd be interested in how many people were drinking at home or close friend pods, vs just going out to the crowded bars.
I wonder how many of these deaths had contracted covid at some point.
Understandable. My wife and I drank so much during lockdown that afterwards we quit booze altogether.
We thought we were going to save so much money by drinking at home. Instead we spent the same and drank twice as much.
Trying to blame deaths on lockdowns and downplay covid?
I know I was drinking an obscene amount summer of 2020.
