What are your favourite controllers?
  • PC game for decades with a recent (5 years?) Switch purchase. I was never a fan of controllers and still aren't for anything to do with aiming, but the Switch Pro Controller impressed me as a real nice piece of hardware. Battery life is phenomenal too.

Looking for a "Limewire" meets "Lidarr"
  • I think this might be it! Thanks :)

  • Looking for a "Limewire" meets "Lidarr"

Ok, so I wanna expand my local music library, but Lidarr isn't doing it for me. My problem with it is mainly that it downloads all kinds of weird releases of an album when I just want the bog standard first release of an album. Also, for single songs it's quite the kerfuffle.

A possibility is downloading songs from YouTube through Stacher but then I need to update all the metadata myself, which I haven't found a user-friendly program for so far.

So my question is: Is there a program like Lidarr, but for single songs? Or some other solution to the issue I'm having?

  • I have a pair of Bose Companion 2 Series III's. I wanted a simple 2.0 set that looked unassuming and sounded good. I bought them refurbished for about half the price and it's a great set if you have the same requirements as I did. The sound is good for a home office/gaming set in a small room. Clear, bassy where needed and way louder than you'd probably need.

  • A plaintiff, for example, is the person lodging a complaint. Doesn't have to be a legal complaint, but in legal terms it makes it very clear who we're talking about.

I think the OP was wondering why that person wouldn't just be called a complaintlodger. Like with firefighter.

  • Gave some advice to a female coworker of mine who was a few years younger than me (we worked in a restaurant and were 25 and 18 or smth). She was in love with her housemate and wasn't sure if it was mutual, afraid of losing the friendship, a classic. Talked for a while and it was pretty clear to me from what I heard that it was mutual. Talked her into taking the lead and they've been together for years now.

  • If I host a server and have plexpass, do other users that want remote access also need plexpass?

I'm having a hard time googling this question, so I'm asking here. I have a Plex server with content, and I want my dad and my sister to have access through their account at their homes. Does this require a Plex pass only for me or for all users?

    Related communities?

So I'm looking for communities related to this one. For example, on reddit I subbed to r/workbenches, r/frenchcleats, r/carpentry.

So what are your favorite woodworking-adjacent communities?
