  • Well, I think the canary in that particular coal mine might be Pete Buttigieg. This guy has the best chance that I know of and he's brilliant. I for one will be watching his career with great interest.

  • Look, I appreciate your position, but you're not understanding the position of the enemy here. To these guys, a receding hairline, failing sex drive, or flappy boobs means they AREN'T men anymore. Pec or penile enhancements and hair plants are, IN FACT, gender affirming. It makes their bans of the procedures you want entirely hypocritical.

I care about their feelings about as much as they care about anyone else, which measures at nill. We're at a point I think where we need to start hurling their own insults back at them. Elon is trying to perpetuate a stereotype here.. of the manly man. If one of these fascists chuds has a weakness, we should be exploiting it. I'll be happy to apologize to you, ad nauseum, when this guy retires from public life. Okay?

  • This right here. While my career might be in tech, nothing ever calls me like being a proper steward of the land. You can wake up and look out and see what you did growing and becoming stronger every day. It enriches your soul.

And we aren't even talking about how you feel when you donate food to people who need it.

  • I would really be entertained if you could ask your friends what they thought of yesterday's executive order that will require the military to assist law enforcement. Seems like a real canary in the coal-mine kind of question.

  • I think many of us have been here before. The first thing to realize is that... you aren't the first and won't be the last. I'm sorry you've had trouble in life. I'm having trouble now too, but different.. and feel there's nobody I can really talk to about it. I have friends who are also having trouble and while we talk, the reality is that all my good wishes and time to time help doesn't solve their problems either. In the end it's up to them.

"Life is a struggle" isn't just an axiom.

The first thing any lonely person can do is really learn to love spending time with themselves. It involves a lot of soul searching, exploring, learning what things in life interest them enough to explore on their own. When you accomplish that, take what you're interested in and go find other people who are interested in it. Two people in the world who might be meant for each other, but just stay at home because they don't want to get out there... will never ever meet.

Life is work. Friends are work. Relationships are work. If you just want to be happy alone and by yourself, guess what? Work.

This is a crossroads in your life, where you get to decide which way to go. It may seem overwhelming, but in the end it starts with one simple thing. What thing in the world makes you happy? If that's nothing, then start with, what thing in the world makes you less sad?

Every house has a foundation. Time to build yours.

  • It's true. Every action taken by him and his underlings have one thing in common.. They're all 8 year olds who don't understand the word, 'No'. A group of the most stunted individuals in the country who truly believe that if they just raise their voice enough, people will agree.

What's sad is how many think this is wisdom. I want off this rock.

  • I'm trying to figure out how they'd even use this for age verification, seeing the wild swing of ages versus appearance that I alone have experienced.

Sounds sus as fk. Will be opting out of this one and if they push it, there's a few nice competitors licking their chops in the wings.
