  • So if Microshaft is going to install these products automatically with my copy of Windows, the tools are free to use, right?

I may finally pull the plug on my full conversion to Linux this or next year. I already dual-boot and have been a single inconvenience away from kicking Windows Spyware Edition to the curb, anyways.

  • Similar to "Internet hacker Anonymous". The media needs somewhere to place blame, so here's a fishing net.

  • Her battery may also just be going bad, for what it's worth. My Pixel 5's life was extended by at least 2 years (before taking a free upgrade to a Pixel 9, running stock OS) by a battery replacement. If you're reasonably handy with electronics, it's less than a $100 fix. I don't know what a phone repair shop would charge.

You may not have to replace a whole phone quite yet.

  • I work in pharmacy and casually joke about being a legal drug dealer all of the time.

Not all drugs are street drugs!

  • Friendly N*ggahood Spiderman

    -Miles Morales, probably

  • As someone who recently had to quit cold turkey from being a heavy daily user due to job change and a drug test (I had 6 weeks to be clean), I can confirm that physical withdrawal symptoms exist and are not pleasant. Includes night sweats turning into nightmares, upset stomach with loose stools, and loss of appetite. Lots of warm baths to combat the fatigue of withdrawal. Heightened paranoia due to the situation.

Would not recommend. If you're a heavy user and need to stop/T-break, taper down first, or work with a mental health provider.

  • Remember when 4chan was good?

    4chan was never good.

  • Nah, it's the "A1, See?" test. It helps prove that his eyes and tastebuds are functioning as normal above expectations.

  • Stony stone stoning

  • That’s also my interpretation. Which tracks with Musk companies, which tend to cut corners by cutting out redundancies.

What are you always preparing for? Just go!

  • Don't let your diagnoses define you. You're no less of a person than you were the day before your diagnoses. See it as an opportunity to have better understanding of yourself and your inner workings.

That said, at least here in the US, if you find that you don't feel comfortable with your mental state, go to a hospital. They're equipped to deal with many kinds of crises, and can help you get through it.

  • I thought it'll pass on it's own but it hasn't.

I had an internal one (no pain, lots of bleeding) within the last 2 years, went to see the doc at the 2 month mark. Was informed it usually takes up to 6 months to resolve. There's a few more-drastic measures that can be performed to take care of it if it's a significant health risk or doesn't fade in that time period. Sorry for your pain and suffering, but other comments about Prep H, and your sitz baths, are good advice. Yes, they're not so uncommon.

The sooner they know, the less embarrassing it'll end up with frequent, painful trips to the bathroom. Just be up front.

  • It infringes on my constitutional freedom to be ripped off!

  • That's rich, coming from a sandwich-maker that left the kitchen.

  • You're right - the climate is a-changin'!

  • Doesn't fit the bill exactly, as it only features a single playable character, but Hades is an absolutely wonderful game that featuring the Greek pantheon for its story.
