  • This will make their Republican constituents less educated, with less means to gain higher education, and with a much less likelihood to ever gain a higher wage over time.

It's easy to see that the Republicans are trying to trick their constituents into permanently guaranteeing that they become a low-wage labor class. This, coupled with abortion bans in these areas, Republican leaders are literally crafting regions of cheap, available, desperate, and exploitable labor. And they are using Religion and Social Politics to bend these people to their whim. In order to work at these places, you think these kids are going to keep school and their education as a priority?

There's two parties in the Republican party, the "Haves" and the "Have Nots" and if you aren't making more than $1mil at the absolute bare minimum, you're one one of the "Have Nots". Those between that and $100k are essentially the Landed Gentry. Anything less than that, and you're just a gullible peasant voting against their own interests in a vague, desperate hope that you too will be able to someday enjoy "The American Dream".

I ask any Republican, you think any of the "Haves" kids will ever work at any of these locations? No, they are getting mentored, they are attending extra-curriculars, they are developing an educated future "leader" while your peasant child is toiling away for pennies....and you're supporting that.

  • You can use it for lower temperatures. (< 300°F). You can realistically go up to 400°s but I think it starts to do odd things when above 300°F (it's been awhile since Ive used it so take that with a grain of salt).

It's used in a lot of smoking/roasting applications to keep the moisture in. Just don't let it touch the element and you should be fine.

  • It's frustrating when you see someone doing a fantastic job of pushing the party further to the left, and doing everything they can to be a voice of reason and logic when there seems to be so little and then seeing someone like you going, "They aren't doing enough." Mate, what are YOU doing?

  • I don't think we do. I haven't seen or heard anything about it. You want to set one up and I can start posting to there as well. Just knocked out the Screaming Deer so I've got another post coming soon.

  • How many Americans do you think are going to be able to afford two or three vehicles?

If you have a family and any pets , it's very difficult to travel around anywhere. At most, people are going to get a car that can fulfill as many needs as possible. Just because YOU can get around comfortably in a smaller car, doesn't mean someone else will be. Different families have different needs.

  • For some people, bigger is more comfortable. Different strokes for different folks. Others don't want to deal with playing Tetris with baggage and family every time they need to go on a trip. For others, it's a safety issue or at least they feel safer in a bigger car.

But yes. I generally agree with you.

  • Entitlement over what? I drive a crosstrek mate. I can't get into a smaller car otherwise I'm leaving the kids behind. Your arguing with a single person. The reality of PEOPLE is that they won't change unless they don't need cars as much.... it's only logical mate.

  • Lol, don't get angry because I don't want to engage with you. You're an angry little man that came in hostile. I just don't want to waste my time on someone like you. Sorry bud. Be nicer next time.

  • I drive a Crosstrek and have a small truck. I'm about as small as it gets before going to clown cars. I don't why everyone here thinks they are going to persuade me how wrong I am....I was making a statement that's isn't wrong. You want people to move to smaller vehicles, build better infrastructure.

  • Neither of which will be big enough to travel with. A family with kids and a dog is a crammed vehicle. If I can't afford a larger car, I'm going to get something that's less cramped and uncomfortable when theres a full load like that.

  • You have kids? Pets? Long work commute? A small car makes having to balance any of these (especially together) difficult. Sprawling suburbia makes commutes and driving anywhere suck, you want Americans to get smaller cars? Build better city infrastructure so that I don't need to use the car 98% of the time I need to leave the house. If I don't need to use it as much I can deal with less comfort and a smaller car.

    Make sense now?

  • So, so besides the story, what's the difference between this and the Divinity games? It appears that it's pretty much the exact same engine, doing the exact same thing, using the exact same functionality. The Divinity games were okay, but it's not like they raised the bar or did anything ground breaking...how is this any different?

That said, have we just not had a good turn-based strategy game in so long that people are like, holy fuck this is so new and refreshing!
