There is currently something going on over at Lemmy.world causing authentication issues. They seem to have had some success working on this, but it appears that once again, you will need to follow the old routine:
- go to Settings > Accounts
- optional (see update below) -- long press on each lemmy.world account to remove it.
- then add it back again.
[Update: user feedback is that you can just add your existing account again without deleting it and the app will do the right thing]
We are looking at a better way of dealing with this. Thanks for bearing with us.
I think it's because the devs of lemmy.world updated to 0.18.2 a few hours ago. Login issues should be fixed now.

I’ve never managed to log into my lemme.world account. I just get stuck with the spiny button. Any hints to get me logged in?
