The Fallout franchise has long maintained a Lovecraftian subplot, which I often call "The Dunwich Mystery". Last week, Fallout 76 expanded upon these Eldritch themes with the "Gone Fission" update, which primairly emphasized a new fishing mechanic, but also introduced new characters and locations related to Fallout's Dunwich Mystery.
