I should probably start watching star trek instead of asking chatgpt the context of these memes.
- I realize you're probably half-joking, but here's a bit of unsolicited advice, hope you don't mind.
  The original Star Trek (1966) tv show, aka The Original Series (TOS) is beloved but has problematic social issues that haven't aged well and can be pretty cringe when viewed with modern eyes. I probably wouldn't start with TOS if you're new to Trek.
  The Next Generation (TNG) from '87-'94 is a little better about that and is regarded by most as the crown jewel of the franchise. So if you do start watching, I recommend TNG! Great show, especially from season 3 onward, if you subscribe to the belief that humanity is capable of bettering itself and working together to help others. I'm just spitballing, I think you'll like TNG. Just my two cents.

Season 3 has its ups and downs, but I enjoy that they tried occasionally giving the other stars a love interest for an episode. I'm pretty sure Spock, Scotty, and McCoy all got to fall in love.
