If your federal government cut internet access to your whole town then where in your town would you think that "the people" would get together to protest ?

The city centre - UK and most European cities are concentric and grew outwards from a defined centre. Most protests generally start or finish in them.
- Yeah I was gonna say: the town square? Seems kinda obvious since it’s usually one of the most crowded places and easy to reach for everyone. Also that’s kind of its purpose: gatherings
  
  It's generally tougher in the U.S. because a lot of our smaller cities were founded post-automobile, post-suburbia and post-shopping malls, and as such they don't have town centers. At best they might have a main retail corridor.

In my city it would be outside the Library, which happens to be "the town square", on the main street.
