Last I heard he was still awaiting to be accommodated his court mandated laptop access?
Well if you consider the other side are a health insurance company plus a government bureaucracy, it's no wonder they're dragging out the process until past the point it would do him any good.
If it drip you must acquit
if people are innocent until proven guilty, doesn't that make pretrial detention illegal? How does that work?
Generally speaking, people facing trial for murder may be deemed a danger to the public and denied bail. Like most aspects of the legal system it's unfair in practice, but it's not completely unreasonable
Also potential flight risks, theres no shortage of people who would love to smuggle him out of the country.
Good.
Let the people thirst for our great player 2.
Does anyone in the thread have more specific insights or educated guesses on when we might actually see the trial commence? Are we looking at early 2026, or is a date in late 2026 or even 2027 more realistic based on the usual delays from appeals and jury selection in a case this complex?
Any knowledge shared about potential timelines or key hurdles still to come would be greatly appreciated, I'm mostly clueless about this!
Thanks.
Going commando then, since there were no undergarments mentioned?
