Jordanlund removed a post in news@lemmy.world because I, not even the post author, disagreed with his view of how moderation should work.
For extra pettiness, he removed my comments before removing the whole post.
Well that's fun that it's now considered attacking when questioning mod decisions on world. Then again they've always been incredibly aggressive that way in their news comm when people don't go along with their odd decisions
Yeah, I'm amused jordanlund posted the modlog, as that does not make him look better. I raised the issue with another mod and they called my criticism "belligerent", which is a wild label to apply to those two comments. There was no response to moderating for "spite". Apparently he just couldn't help himself after such withering belligerence.
Yeah they get crazy anytime they're questioned. But world seems to love having them as a mod so 🤷good for them?
.world is just Reddit 2.0 at this point...
Wasn't that the entire reason they created it?
Stated rules of the group were met with hostility and that hostility was returned in kind.
Compare with the conversation I had with OP who very kindly fixed his post which is perfectly allowed as it now abides by the rules of the community.

"Now I'm removing it just to spite you." is such a clear self-report of mens rea that it borders on satire. The question of whether or not there was a rule infraction to begin with is utterly moot after a statement like that.
Why even try to rationalize it now? Go ahead and label your actions as PTB in this thread. At this point, it's probably the most honest move you can make.
Yes how dare they question your authority
