Because LLMs are so damn useful, that they have to be forced to be used.
You are misunderstanding. They are forcing people to use LLMs at the cost of productivity so that they can hopefully find places where LLMs can improve productivity.
This isn't really unreasonable. They are basically trying to get ahead of the adoption curve by forcing pre-mature adoption and find use cases. Bezos loves firing workers so this is basically a win-win. If it works they offload more work to LLMs and fire workers, if it doesn't work other workers get a bad performance review and get fired.
i ran into someone who has survived all of the firing an layoffs because he was unusually proud of being a bezos bootlicker; which is a realy pity because he was such a great lay.
i guess you'd have to be to keep taking it from billionaires with a smile all day every day. lol
But, what is the use case for a piece of software that straight up makes stuff at least 60-70% of the time? Plausible sounding made-up stuff is still made-up stuff. I would rather not use LLMs because I don't trust them.
Isn't it weird? I don't recall another time where this sort of proof of use was so important, so required.
The powers that be are really pushing for this whole Industrial Revolution thing again.
