They're rare, but they're unfortunately here
  • but you have to be able to listen to them.

Not when they're absolute shit takes, hate speech, denial of basic facts, misinformation, propaganda or intolerance we don't.

Right-wingers have long abandoned sensible debates for hate and anger, pointless "identity politics" and sucking off Trump

Tankies refuse to accept any and all criticism of the totally-not authoritarian Chinese/Russian governments no matter what facts and evidence is presented to them

  • Reddit mod doesn't understand account scrubbing
  • My old Reddit account gets regularly scrubbed because Reddit keeps restoring shit.

Lol every time I see this come up I laugh a little because last year during the whole API fiasco I said that it was pointless to scrub accounts because Reddit likely had backups of, at a minimum, text comments since they had put significant value on it.

I was downvoted to hell and told there was no way they were doing that because "it would be too expensive and technically challenging" to have backups, regular or not, of even just text at that scale

Now here we are with like the millionth example of Reddit restoring supposedly scrubbed content

  • I wish them luck!
  • Well yes and no, people are moving to it, mostly as a form of protest IMO

I highly doubt it was "designed" for sowing discord and such, RedNote was very much intended to be a local Chinese SM. Most of the app isn't even in English last I saw, just Chinese and they're rushing to hire "English-speaking" moderators rn

Is marijuana-induced psychosis a real thing or is it just more reefer madness scaremongering?
  • A big portion is, but if you've had some sort of "psychotic break" in the past or are prone to it or more "extreme" psychological issues, it's certainly not going to help anything. Better to be safe than sorry, or better yet discuss with a (trusted(Which if I'm being honest, why are they your therapist if you don't trust them?)) therapist if possible.

  • Time to chop wood
  • I wouldn't mind having a horse for transportation, but got damn are they expensive (both financially and physically) to maintain.

How the hell did anyone but the rich afford horses before the car‽

They're rare, but they're unfortunately here
  • Problem is, they don't argue in good faith, no matter what evidence or arguments you bring to the table no matter how long or short they're right and you've just been subjected to brainwashing/propaganda.

Nor is it a debatable political position to be spread Nazi-ism or bigotry (which is what most right-wingers do)

  • I did it, lads.
  • Yes, until then we can each do small things like

    • Crosspost actual decent content in a .ml comm to a non-.ml comm (a perfect opportunity to grow smaller comms)

    • Call out their BS whenever you see it on other instances

    • Screenshot their Tankie propaganda and post it here

    • Advise newcomers

    • Make memes about it

    • Downvote any .ml community post you come across and then see 1st point

.world has already defed'd 2 of the 3 of the Tankie Triad, but I've been seeing a lot of "sticking heads in the sand"
