Some people can’t see the forks until they are told that this is forks. To me it looked like some weird purple things in maybe an industrial setting, being dipped in something. Until I read forks in the comments, then the background and foreground reversed for me and I immediately saw the forks.
I never saw this as anything other than forks on a purple towel. I have no idea what else it could be. I was thinking maybe it was supposed to be like that plates illusion, one of the forks would be "backwards" and once you saw the backwards one all the others would flip to match it, or something like that. But reading the comments here, clearly I was supposed to see something else entirely and then it would change to forks. But, uh, yeah, that never happened, it was just forks.
I saw this picture a while ago :3.. all I can see is forks, but apparently some people see the purple towel as bumps or something? I couldn't get it to work
Didn’t see the forks until you said it and I really looked. All I saw were the purple things. I thought they were being dipped (like the way gloves are made).
Oh thank you! I could only see the forks, but with your comment I was able to refocus somehow and put the purple in front. Kinda like a magic eye I guess. Weird image.
I think imagining the darker part of the forks as being a road outside a window helps me the most.
I have no idea what this is supposed to be/do. I see 4 silver forks on a purple towel. Is there something reflected in the metal of the forks?

Exactly the same for me here, industrial setting and all. Now I cannot see at all what I first saw and the forks and towel are obvious.
