Elon Musk infamously paid $44 billion to purchase Twitter, and on Tuesday, his pricey platform was promoting a hashtag dedicated to eviscerating him over his decision to deny the Ukraine military access to Starlink over Russian-occupied Crimea.

The way things are going, pretty soon we'll be able to start a #GoFundMe to buy #Twitter and put a #Mastodon instance on its domain.
I look forward to Mr Muskovy reacting with a sense of humour about it all, rather than doubling down and acting like a thirteen year old boy who's father doesn't love him.
He can't care less. They're still engaging with the platform and generating ad revenue. Maybe don't protest a platform by continuing to use said platform and therefore making it money.
He is awfully close to autocrats of all kind. Neatly following the CCP to sell Teslas in China, doing nothing against spying by Saudi Arabia on Saudi dissidents on twitter and easily doing what Putin wants him to do in Ukraine. The problem is bigger than just Ukraine. Hell, he even let the Saudi investment fund bankroll a part of the twitter acquisition. These are the same guys who lock people up for live for a few critical tweets about MBS (the Saudi despot).
When do we start boycotting everything he has his hands in? As much as I support space travel and exploration I cannot support SpaceX because of his involvement. But I will not support Amazon space either.
If I had an account I'd jump in. Just because I love seeing billionaire fee fees hurt. And you know he's seething and malding about it too since that's all he does is Twitter.
Also the source of this is apparently a biography written by the former CEO of CNN, Mark Isaacson. Is this correct?
I’m all for hanging this guy out to dry but seems like a play to pump CNN numbers because Elon outrage usually goes viral. It’s a bit sus.
Has any other entity actually confirmed these claims?
Also, aren’t there regulations that would prevent an individual or company from doing a unilateral decision like this? I think it’s called ITAR or something.
Don't give that unpleasant **** any more money. Just stop using Twitter - I did (when it looked like he was stupid enough to actually buy in to a dying company).
I'm so glad a ton of EV trucks are coming out. I need a truck (Yes, I really do. Plywood sheets don't fit in cars) and I was never going to buy a cyberturd. I'd rather just do without something than give this piece of shit a cent.
