Changing the voting system is the first step.
A lot of smart people have looked at this problem. With years of study, lots of math, and some real world testing, the best option for a replacement is STAR.
- This right here. Get rid of the electoral college and make all voting mandatory STAR voting is a great start.

  If you say half of the 'somewhat likely's actually go for it, then you get this:

People are people, from my experience, all want to live a good life, think positively about the future and be let the fuck in peace. Very few assholes exist among both men and women, and i wouldn't say that it's more or less on either side, they're just assholes in different ways.

Unfortunately enough men exist that vote differently than women that they naturally become a voting block.
