It's good that this issue is being addressed again, if only for the sake of the victims. But unfortunately, it's too late now.
It was perfectly obvious who Trump was even before his first term in office. But no, people insisted on having a criminal and rapist as president. Who is surprised that he doesn't want to release the Epstein documents, when it was also absolutely obvious that they would incriminate him?
Now the US is a banana republic whose leadership stands for nothing but organized crime. That's the logical consequence.

Those who scream the loudest are most likely guilty. This con artist ran on exposing the Epstein files, won on that platform and even talked about it early into his administration.
Why the sudden turn around? Are you guilty of being a pedophile in the same way you’re a convicted rapist, and bought beauty pageants so you could walk in on unsuspecting young girls in the change room?

I'm sticking with my preferred fate for Trump I came up with the day I saw the fucking Confederate flag streaming proudly through the halls of the Capitol:
Bury him, alive, underneath the Lincoln memorial, at Lincoln's feet.
Nothing but a small placard to indicate he is even there, something like:
'Beneath here lies a traitor, sic semper tyranis.'
Nothing human about him
You shouldn't dehumanize your enemies.
It's important to acknowledge that humans are capable of great evil.
He is absolutely human and should serve a reminder of the evil humans are capable of.

Hear me out as I’m about to defend Trump and his horrible party, but I’m not a fan at all and my post history is evident of that.
Either there is actually nothing substantial worth releasing and before they got back into power they overestimated how much the dems were hiding, but quickly realised it was a nothing burger.
Or they’re all the same and the only reason they were loud before they were in office is because it’s easy to be loud when you don’t have to do anything. The same thing we are seeing over these files now from Democrats and when they get back into power they too will do nothing, because again it’s either nothing or everybody is covering something up.
This is one issue where I feel I could say both sides are the fucking same.
Edit: I love that this echo chamber will just give out downvotes like candy but nobody really tells you why they don’t agree with the idea you posit. We are no better than TheDonald was on reddit really.
