I'm going to train a few times this week, it always helps my mood. I've also got lunch with a friend and coffee with another which will be lovely. I've got a really nice bar of chocolate which I'm really looking forward to trying... that's a great way to look after myself!
I just got an appointment for an adhd assessment this week.
i'm going to eat healthy! 'bout to make some tofu and veggies.
edit: lies, I made fake steak bits and veggies bc i'm lazy!
mm breakfast
(beyond steak is not my favorite, do not recommend)
Oh that looks gooooood mate nice work

I'm finally starting HRT this week. I'm not sure what to expect but I'm excited! So far the only downside is that I have to go off of the birth control pill for this, so I'm going to have to have periods again. 😡
That's great news mate! I'm really pleased. How hard was it to get the HRT?
I'm happy too! It was surprisingly easy once I found the right doctor. I went to a GYN who specializes in perimenopause and she really listened to me, and had a whole plan for approaching it. I'm starting with progesterone, and in 3 months we'll adjust the dosage if needed and add estrogen, and 3 months after that we'll adjust again and add testosterone.
I was so relieved because the previous 2 GYNs I went to didn't seem to understand. The first (a man in his 60s) said I was too young and my symptoms were probably from stress, not peri. 🙄 The second (a woman in her early 30s) said it was probably peri but there was nothing she could do since normally she'd prescribe birth control for my symptoms, but I was already taking it. This time I looked for a woman who was definitely old enough to have been through peri herself, and one who specializes in peri instead of just a regular GYN.
Third time's the charm, I guess!
#1 myself. Which is what we should do
I'm not going to fall on an escalator like I did this morning for the rest of my week month year life.
it's pretty much my full time job to look after myself rn - recovering from surgery involves a lot of self care 😄
100% agree! You have got to do whatever you need to do atm
Recovering from surgery can be so tough! I hope you heal quickly and smoothly :)
