Cybertruck Sales Are So Bad That We Gasped
In the entire first quarter of 2025, Tesla has managed to sell just 7,100 Cybertrucks in the US, according to data from S&P Global Mobility.

I'll save you a click: 7,100 Cybertrucks sold in the US in the first quarter of 2025. Another 10,000 trucks remain unsold. Last year Tesla sold fewer than 40,000 of them. This is way below the 500,000 per year Musk predicted.

God, so few and yet so fucking many on my daily commute. Each one of them a worse driver than the last.
17 0 ReplyI'm trying to think of any other vehicle that's flopped this hard in sales and I'm drawing a blank.
Couldn't have happened to a better target.
17 0 ReplyThe Fiat Multipla, widely regarded as a fucking ugly piece of useless trash was a worldwide failure, because it looked like this:
It sold 70k in the first year (EDIT: in europe)
25 0 ReplyIts being outperformed by the Aztek, this thing is... god, words fail me.
7 0 ReplyThe Delorian! That failed so hard. Although it will be way more highly regarded thanks to Back to the Future.
5 0 ReplyThe Edsel? That was a whole new division, not just one model.

Only good for the batteries. Those will be reclaimed at some point.
10 0 ReplySubtle reminder that the cyberstuck has a range some 200+ km lower than promised.
3 0 ReplyYeah but you can buy an extra battery to put in the bed and get more range! Ha just kidding that’s not gonna happen. Thanks for your money!
