We honestly should rename GIMP. It’s a bad name. I think a new and better acronym would substantially improve brand recognition. Something like:
Free Utility for Creative Kits, Brushes, Overlays, & Imaging
FUCKBOI

  You forgot that for whatever reason we have to have an acronym in our acronym.

- There was a fork that did nothing but replace the name and graphics to GLIMPSE
  The gimp oss community is really fucking rabid about NOT EVER changing the name

- I love fuck! I can never be bothered creating upstream Git branches when I've branched locally, I just type git push and it complains there's no upstream, and then I type fuck and it does it for me.
  
  Set push.autoSetupRemote in your gitconfig and it'll do it first time
  
  There is also a zsh-Plugin for the fuck. That way you can just double hit esc and zsh… uhm… fucks… automatically for you

  Coq was such an excellent name. Short, memorable, unique, related to its origins and logo, as well as funny.
  
  coq_nvim exists with that name too
yet it's GIMP YouTube decides to censor
