I've always felt many of these are government jobs programs for conservatives that love free markets but don't have what it takes to survive in them.
They also gave us Steven Crowder, so idk. /s
Guy calls himself ancap and guts services people depend on. Pretty ancap.
Just make it version 2 already!!
He's an ancap and just as shitty as all the others. No need to no true Scotts the guy
but the point of the other things on a personal level are important; largely because they instill a culture of caring about the matter.
Seems you didn't read properly, so I'm highlight a key point
Milei is not an anarcho-capitalist.
Edit: And another source in spanish where he referred to himself as an ancap.
Anarcho-capitalists are ghouls. There is a lot riding on this to keep exporting his experiments (like DOGE), so it will be a long time until we know how badly his polices have hurt ordinary argentinians.
There are many threads with .mls talking about everyone having denial of genocide in Palestine (a thing no one is denying), but they then deny those actions of Russia on Ukraine. Curious stance for anti-imperialists
What did i write that is sinophobic?
Possible upside, he might fly on a Boeing to his new post.
True, even Milton Friedman (barf) said we should be thankful if someone wants to subsides our lives. Besides these market extremists say all government intervention is bound to fail, so they should have nothing to fear letting the BYDs in. The socialist subsidy of BYD will collapse and we don't want the government distorting our market either.
This isn't really my personal take, but i like using their own logic to reach a conclusion they will hate.
Its largely american cope that they are not that good at manufacturing anymore. Chinese factories build things to spec, and the customer asks for cheap, so they get cheap.
but to everyone saying “we should just compete”, do you realize the realities that Chinese workers experience? Have you heard of 996?
I get what you are saying, but sometimes I think we should in a way, or at least we should get republicans exposed to it, so they can live their hogwash ideas of free markets.
Its true that the economy of scale to reduce emissions is at the factories and such, but the point of the other things on a personal level are important; largely because they instill a culture of caring about the matter. For example, for better or worse, the marine corps puts a lot of emphasis on the proper wearing and display of the uniform, so the consequence is that it is taboo to not shave or have unshined shoes. If you are the only one in a party using a plastic straw or the only one rolling coal; you'll be more than a sore thumb; you'll be shunned at a deeper level and by the wider community not just environmentalists.
No one is even saying no beef, but we are saying reduction in it. That statement is not only a false dichotomy, but preventing a real start to our movements.
For real. Sometimes its hard to tell if its a 4chan type being edge, but the whole things is a bit too candid to be a troll.
Idk I went to a public HS and we had a good coverage of the gilded age. Reflecting on that as I got older is a big part of why I moved away from thinking capitalism is good.
I don't think true libertarians have good ideas, but its also not unusual that the libertarian party is largely for republicans that are brand aware as they say.
If they reply, I imagine it will be some hog wash about the NAP (non-aggression principle). Which in short is a honor code they expect everyone to abide (currently not possible because government). It is a rather odd claim for the ancaps I think. They are saying something about solidarity and no one will want to work with an abuser/slaver. They will also deny that Ayn Rand's objectivism is distinct from their ideas, but interrogating them shows its not. So they have an appeal to solidarity, but the selling points of their ideology are selfish motivations. Historically that means there will be plenty who find their selfish interests are to side with an abuser/slaver/colonizer. Id compare them to a religious fundamentalist that just found some contradictions in the bible and is working on the apologetic.

Hello Lemms
I have an XSR 900 and some old soft luggage from an XG 750. Does anyone have suggestions for mods that would help mount a tail and saddle bags? I am aware that the XSR and sportbikes are not made with touring in mind, but I am stubborn. Really the saddle bags are optional, but would like to be able to take them.
If you have ever gone on some road trips on a sport bike what tricks or mods did you use to have enough tie down points for your bags?

Not sure why one of my motorcycle youtube is doing algo stuff, but wanted to share. Not explicitly a humorous video, but not sure what other miscellanea community to post and share.
