I'll just leave this here for you all to keep whatever-it-is it in perspective. The Transformers guys have got pessimism honed down to a fine science; every other fandom is miles behind.

Note also the first entry on the timeline.

  The TF wiki is a shining gem of the Internet. I discovered it a few years back and got completely lost in the articles about the transformers multiverse and various "universal timelines".

This is basically why I didn't participate in the fandom for many years. Tired of hearing how bad this is or whatever. And this goes back to Next Gen, too. I found I enjoyed Star Trek more without everyone else's opinions.
