Took everything in me not to give them a one finger salute.

They were on the phone btw. Big ol iPhone 16 Pro Max up to their ear, barely paying attention to the road.

edit: if anyone has any foss camera apps they'd like to recommend, I'm looking to find something better than the stock GCamera.

Hey, I'm all for ragging on ridiculous Trump cult members, but when I zoom in like 85% of this picture looks like garbled AI gibberish.
- It just looks like a combination of digital zoom, bad sharpening and low-quality JPEG.

We’ve been living in an open-air reeducation camp. The speakers droning the mantras are Fox, OAN, Limbaugh, Rogan, and any number of other sources all amplified by billionaire money.

Some conform all too willingly.

Do you think he chose that car because the model is 'Patriot'?
I've been using Open Camera (from F-Droid) for a long time now. I don't know if it's the "best" since it's been a while since I checked, but I do think it's better than the default camera app. (Where "better" means "capturing the output of the image sensor at the highest fidelity without fucking with it," rather than "producing the 'prettiest' oversaturated and AI-enhanced garbage to post on Instagram".)

Also, re: the one-finger salute: stop resisting the temptation; they fucking deserve it. Public shame is the only thing that's going to get these assholes to change, so you do society a disservice by not flipping them off.
- I'd avoid interacting with the US lunatics on the road. People in cars get overly excited way too easily and the result can be unpredictable.
  
  This is why I didnt, if it was just me I probably would have but there were other people in the car and I didnt want to endanger them
