The ICC accuses him of "crimes against humanity" in a drugs crackdown that left thousands dead.
Wow, that is incredible. I can't believe they captured him. He could actually stand trial for his horrible crimes, and his victims could finally have justice. The first of hopefully many crazy authoritarian nuts getting what they deserve.
Incredible is the word I'd use too.
And it feels kind of important to watch a dictator have to face justice right now.

I want to believe that there is still justice in this world, but I'm not very hopeful.

That's Baybayin. It's an old Tagalog script that isn't really used anymore outside of aesthetic purposes. It's not commonly taught and used in schools for example. Even I couldn't read this without a guide. There are some efforts to try to revive it though.
Tagalog is usually written with the English alphabet. Like this: Magandang gabi po. Google Translate works.
