Google switches name of Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America for US users

California-based internet giant says the name of the body of water will depend on location of the user.

I just checked, it's "Gulf of America" for me.

Canada weighing in. It's now "Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)" for us.

- It is for UK users too. Quite honestly the most pathetic, embarrassing example of telling on yourself I've seen for some time.
