An earlier return would make no sense whatsoever. The Crew-9 Dragon has already been sent up with two empty seats for Butch and Suni. They aren't stranded, and there is no need to come back any sooner than is scheduled.

They were already scheduled to come home on the SpaceX Dragon launch in FebruaryEDIT: that launched in September, has been attached to the space station for months, and has always been scheduled to return in February (thanks u/threelonmusketeers).
