I realize that Lucas ultimately didn't want to have Anakin stab his very pregnant wife so she couldn't have been seriously injured in the final confrontation and have a plausible death, but honestly, why not just have her give birth without medical aid? Obi-Wan is never shown to have Force Healing, there's no reason to assume he could have stopped her from hemorrhaging or whatever.
I mean this was the end of the movie anyway...
They say she lost the will to live and that should have meant she could be mind tricked. But I believe her strong will to die would have prevented it.
