SLPT: If you are in a dangerous situation and someone yells "Duck!", make sure they aren't talking about the bird or you could end up looking real stupid.

I wish I could find that video where someone off-screen yells “Duck!”, and the guy does, but gets hit with an incoming duck anyway.

Likewise, if someone screams, "Get DOWN!" you're going to want to confirm it is not a time-displaced funk singer encouraging you to boogie on with your bad self, lest you make yourself look foolish. See also, Hit the Floor.
