Let's wait out the next couple of months, but I am almost convinced that at this point a billionare can shoot 10 random people in the head in Time Square with 100 cameras pointed at him, and the victims families are the ones that are going to end up in jail.
Then you have Bill Burr who walls up on stage to thundering applause and opens with "Settle down people! Let's See if Im good first."
I've been living that lifestyle for the past *checks notes* all my life. I'll give them about 2 years before they want to off themselves.
Because others have gone out if their way not to be reliant on me specifically.
People never let me plan things, people treat me like a child, people always ask other to double check only my work, etc...
The worst thing is its a positive feed back loop. People think you're dumb and don't give you any opportunities, less opportunities means less experience, less experience means you appear less competent, being less competent makes people believe you're dumb.
I always kind of judged comment sections quality by their ability to stay on topic. YouTube has been the absolute worst at this for at least the past 15 years. Test it yourself, go unto any YouTube video check the comments. By the second, sometimes even first reply to the top comment it turn into incoherent nonesense. This is not a new phenomenon, this has always been the case.
Friend proceeds to get insanely rare drops that you haven't even seen yourself

It's sad to see that the people that do the most honest work are always being played by people doing the most dishonest one.

Thats a good one, also along the lines "In our dogs eyes we are the immortal elves."
For me, a few come to mind:
- "You're imagining everybody in this story way more attractive than they actually were."
It was posted somewhere on one of those spicy subreddits under some affair threesome story. And it sort if clicked with me. Like look around, normal people on the street don't all look like supermodels. And supermodels don't lurk around in reddit comment sections. It really put things into perspective for me.
- "Life isn't short, it's the longest thing you'll ever do."
It is a bit uplifting to realize that no matter if you have bad or good period in your life, it is only a short chapter contained in the longest time period possible for you to experience.
There were a few others that I probably can't remember of the top of my head right now.
For years I've been looking for a mod that does a simple thing - showing the resources needed for all placed construction blueprints, ideally in parenthesis on the vanilla resource list next to the corresponding resource.\ \ I'm tired of selecting all the placed floor tiles and then multiplying it by the number of resources per tile by hand. Especially because you can only select a limited number of entities at once. You have to fiddle around with the camera to section of portions of your blueprints if they exceed this limitation. It would save a lot of hassle for larger builds if the number of resources in construction or production queue would be visible at a glance.\ \ Additionally the aproximate amount of days your food will last should also visible on the resource list.
