Hello Lemmy! Today is the day that I leave reddit for lemmy. I still plan on using reddit on my phone, as my reason for switching is that the Gen 3 UI sucks and they stopped letting you use Gen 2. If they revert that decision than I might switch back, but with the way things have been going, It's probably unlikely that I will change back.

I was on reddit for 16 years, left a year ago and haven't looked back. Couldn't be happier.

Ditched Reddit entirely today. Got sick of the constant crap that I keep telling it I don't want to see.
I don't know much about the UI stuff you're talking about but welcome.
If you're looking for an app I recommend Voyager, but I suggest you give them all a try and see what fits (Boost is a good second choice to look at).

Still getting used to it...but fed up with reddit...hopefully more will come. Someone should make a post there describing how it works

Anyone else suddenly got their permanent ban lifted on reddit? I'm still sticking to lemmy now, but I just wish more people would migrate.
