I mean, yes, the couch thing is funny, and it's been a while since Democrats have celebrated a good old fashioned nothing burger (something the right does far too often -- some of them are still not over the transvestigation of that one Olympic boxer -- and it's about time we fought fire with fire), but it's kind of run its course, hasn't it? I love the idea of a portmanteau here (and respect the additional pun of “transvest” being in the word itself), but I’d still put forth “transquisition,” as it IMO references its absolute nothing-burger-ness better.
