17 0 ReplyUhhh...as someone in the UK, I would probably rethink holding us to some beacon of transport perfection. Our rail system is heavily privatised, and costs so much that we regularly see stories of how it would cost less to fly to mainland Europe and then to London instead of getting the train from say Bristol.
