Conservatives are proud of Trump's behavior. That's why they chose him as their representative. They could've choosen anyone in the nation to represent who they are, and they chose Trump to reflect their values. He is their reflection.

They might be embarrassed by his making a fool of himself but they support him because they agree with his positions.
It's why they mimic his behavior too.
