Also, you can "install" things like Discord into a webapp and when you launch it it looks and behaves just like regular old discord, but never makes you wait through those annoying installation screens.
This is exactly it, it's a shakedown and Trump and the party of fiscal responsibility will see to it that yet more corporations get hundreds of billions in government largess. But boy, they sure extracted that 1 bil from PBS, so I guess they're on point.
I'm not certain I understand... I make a lot of bread too and partly because it's cheap, but also partly because it's awesome. I'm focused on sourdough at the moment, it's been a long trip.
I am unsure of what the "new" pyramid is trying to say, because it says nothing. Very strange, though not, I suppose, coming from the barely literate fuckheads running HHS now.
It sounds like you're struggling pretty hard, good on you you make your own bread. Fresh vegetables and fruit are still fairly reasonable, particularly if you do local farmer's markets. I recently posted about how using dried beans instead of canned is a real money saver (a pound of navy beans is like, $1.20 - and loads of good protein).
I am also quite focused on foraging right now. I hope it doesn't come to it, but if it should, I'd like to be as prepared as possible. Knowing what edible wild plants exist around you is very valuable, and can be a fun hobby for those bent that way.
So the official line is that this whole deal is about stopping the pipeline for oil from Venezuela to Russia and Iran. Is that actually legitimate? I'd think Russia and Iran have enough domestic oil for their own use that they wouldn't have to bother with Venezuela's heavy sour. Are they just taking the opportunity to seize any ship that wanders into the Western hemisphere that could be used to illicitly transport oil exports from these countries maybe? If so, that could actually hurt Putin's interests - I gotta figure TACO would come into play on a move like that.
I'm kind of an in-the-middle tan-mode sort myself. I cut my teeth on UltraEdit back in the day and its default color scheme (circa 2001) is still the scheme I use today, though I've moved wholly to FOSS. I can't do dark, I can't read the code properly. I can't do bright white, it's too stressful.
Evangelical Christian people were lied to, if you really want to know the truth. And that’s exactly what happened.
Evangelical Christians are easy to lie to, if you want to know the truth, because they disdain intelligence, preferring their world in which they cosplay magic in fairyland 24/7 without even a tiny hint of self-awareness (because they have none). Given the same choice he would do it again, because he's too cost-sunk in his dumbass roleplaying to do anything different.
And then get mad at the pushback and call everyone: overly sensitive, intolerant, clowns and snowflakes. It's just nothing but ass-faced dipshittery all the way down.
I hope you find your way clear. There is a way, you just have to find it. Take it slow. Determination and focus on a goal can help alleviate depression. This is an excellent step, asking about on the 'net. Everyone has value. Your mom is blinded to the fact (and it is certain) that she too was what we once all were, young, naive and full of unrealized potential. So she found her potential and realized it, but she forgot about it ever being unrealized. And that is on her, not on you. She is not better than you because your potential is as yet unrealized, and she's actively damaging your potential by pretending she is. Ignore it, stay focused and find your way.
Edit: and if you can find professional help that you trust, good. Depression is not just in the mind, it can be physiological as well. You may need to find out, but this will be part of your journey.
I gave up red meat, it's not that hard. Honestly, I'm hoping the market will take this opportunity to come up with more decent vegan alternatives. I'd like to give meat up altogether but the products that are out there currently are pricier than red meat, ffs.
I think the real problem is a government structure that lends itself to being captured by monied interests. The problem of capitalism chasing the money is only a problem because we have a government unable to properly tax the wealthy to ensure no one can amass the kind of wealth that makes it possible to capture the government.
This is timely. I just read a fantastic article all about how Mary becoming a spinster without George probably isn't as goofy (or as overtly sexist) as it seems. Quite a thought provoking article.
Yeah but look at all the cool movies you get in return! God, bunch of ingrates, I swear.
