What if BOE happens this year? AMOC is coming soon and D-O events will follow
- Can you throw some more acronyms out there? Or alternatively, define them so we have some idea what the hell you're talking about?
  
  BOE = blue ocean event, meaning the arctic ocean is virtually ice free for an extended period.
  
  AMOC = Atlantic meridional overturning circulation, which is responsible for bringing warm water to the north atlantic and whose change could bring about a major and lasting shift in weather patterns.
- Agriculture is already taking a hit locally. We had rains very late into the spring, mixed with temperatures that belongs in August. This combination decimated complete fields nearby. It will get ugly real fast if that happens.
We really don’t have much hope. We can only hope to adapt to the climate changes.
