I think this exact string was a plot point in Ramona and her father by Beverly Cleary. Ramona intended to create a "NO SMOKING" sign, but paper dimension limitations caused the sign to read "NOSMO KING".
Beatrice "Beezus" Quimby is Ramona's elder sister. IIRC, she got her nickname because Ramona had difficulty pronouncing "Beatrice" when she was little.
they are indeed, I just find that names derived from consumable works have seemingly less heartfelt meaning than established names from ancestral roots.

It's fairly common for parents to name their children based on the day they were born, like naming them after the saint that day represents.
I met a guy who's name was the equivalent to "nat-hol" because he was born on the local national holiday and that's what it showed on the calendar for that day.
