Really recommend giving their episodes a listen, it's also so fucking funny that Brace and yung Chomsky got away with their interviews. Listening to their description of what it was like on the podcast and then watching the interviews themselves never fails to make me laugh
Yeah exactly! I've even used the bridge yesterday since I'm on Mastodon, and my girlfriend just migrated to bluesky after hearing about the exodus. The process is really easy and only takes a bit of time for some of the DMs to get sent, but otherwise I have no complaints!
Yeah I'm a huge believer in federated systems but I believe that a lot of 'normies' going to bluesky is a huge step in the right direction. Even though most don't know anything about the tech behind it and migrate because twitter has become a bot infested right wing hell scape, they still are one step closer to being fully integrated to the fediverse.

I had tried to self host an instance, but for some reason couldn't get it to work. I was really new to self hosting at that point though, and should probably give it another go, it seems too useful to ignore completely.

Exactly, I've found them most useful to either summarize a text you feed it, or do broad 'google like' queries. I don't trust it with anything beyond that
Yeah, I used to really like Andrew's work, but haven't really watched anything since the allegations all came out and he went completely quiet for a few months after. It really feels like a calculated move to just wait the story out, and feels like a really dickish thing to do instead of actually addressing his sex pest past.
Although it makes a bit of sense for them to do this given that they have only a few hundred users on the instance, it's still depressing to hear.
