    https://www.zdf.de/nachrichten/wirtschaft/sozialbetrug-clans-ausmass-100.html

Deutschland entgehen jedes Jahr ca 125 Mrd € wegen Steuerhinterziehung. https://www.forschung-und-wissen.de/nachrichten/oekonomie/steuerhinterziehung-kostet-deutschland-125-milliarden-euro-13379339

  • Merz signals Ukraine could use Taurus missiles to target Crimea, Kerch Bridge
  • Sometimes I am completely at awe how bad politicians are in playing chess. Look at Merz, for example.

He could have said "yeah, you know, we are in a coalition with the SPD, they were always against sending Taurus. So, we benched the topic until a later time, as we need to solve issues at hand, getting the government startet and all."
People would have been fine. That would be believable.
But then, he could have send a few dozend of the Taurus anyhow. Let the Ukraine plan a one time big attack on multiple important targets. Have them do it.
And then, when it becomes clear that it had been Taurus the were used, and Merz got asked why he "lied" or didn't say, he could have gone like "oh swell, Putin is fucking lying every day. Grow up, guys, this is a war and i wont explain my plans to you beforehand. Next question?"

But nu-uh. Everything gets spoilered months before anything might happen. Russia knows, prepares accordingly.

    Loosers.

  • Checked all products i regularly buy on who "the real owner" is and ditched every brand that is US owned for a european one.
Currently trying to get Linux Mint to run on a notebook; once this works, i will switch the os on my gaming pc to a linux as well and afterwards teach my mom (76) how to use Mint on her pc.

  • The Honest Guide helped live in a taxi scam
  • ...reminds me of a trip with a cab back in 2010ish.

Two friends of mine and i went from Kladno to Prague via cab - a 30km ride. Cabdriver told us what this will cost, we took the ride. Cabdriver went well under the speed limit on the highway and it was clear early on: this ass wants to scam us.

Once we arrive he asked for double the price he initially asked to get. We gave him exactly what was agreed upon at the start and he threatened to call the cops. We told him "good luck" and "fuck you" and let him scream at us while we disappeared into the crowds of the downtown area.

    Good times.

  • Tesla's latest decline could be one for the history books - $795 billion since Dec 17 or 53.7 percent
  • Interesting to read that the article completely fails to explain why the sales drop in other parts of the world (than the US) and how that might be linked to his nazi salute or anything related to his political views.
If that is peak journalism, then its not surprising that analysts from the states get things wrong these days.

  • Nice list!

I would only add England - Terry Pratchett (Fantasy, but in an ironic, funny, quirky way, in its own world....with lots of "real world" ironies and sarcasm)

    Then.... its perfect ;)

Nothing Trump says is worth anything.
He will contradict himself many times and deny it was different in the past. His voters dont understand, care, remember or all three.
Its lies, bullshit, bullying, more lies.
How do you ever justify that a president behaves like this??
