I've been getting back into the groove of making artwork, which is all nice. My goal is to start a webcomic this year. c:

In other domains, what started out as a joke is becoming a full mod for Terraria: One that adds more cactus weapons apart from the basic cactus sword. :D I've never made mods for Terraria so it's a simultaneous learning process.

I also narrow my eyes whenever I see the word "family" now.

Finland here. Tipping is in no way expected and it's actually rather atypical to tip at all. Though no one will say no if you do decide to tip!

I make a meal plan for every week and only buy ingredients I need for those meals. Saves me money by having me buy only the things I definitely need, and time by having to make only a single trip to the grocery store each week.

I've had a field day while writing my thesis recently, realising I could bypass the paywalls by accessing the papers through the university proxy. It's still bs, though, because it leaves this stuff only accessible to researchers and not your regular people who may be interested.

Though like PrinceWith999Enemies said, many paper writers will happily send you a copy if you email them about it.

Yup! Whenever I play in a high magic setting and want to incorporate disease, disability or death into a story, I always come up with a reason why it cannot be fixed with magic, or why the character didn't want to/couldn't fix it with magic.
