I haven't tried Bard, but I've currently been using ChatGPT for writing cover letters for job applications.
Coming from Beehaw, which always had downvotes disabled, I don't think downvotes are necessary for a healthy Lemmy instance. More popular content will naturally surface by virtue of having more upvotes; there's no need to have a mechanism to "pull down" less popular content.
I also think that downvotes are too easily abused or weaponized. It's trivial to downvote bomb all of a user's or a community's posts. Without downvotes, to achieve the same effect, you'd have to upvote every single other post that exists.
Nice, I edited all of my posts too a few days ago. I haven't deleted my account yet because I'm worried that Reddit will go back and undo my edits...
Done. Thanks for all the work you folks are putting into building a thriving community!
I've been playing for a bit over a year but have taken a break since PES came out. Like, when the game works it's amazing, but I've just had too many frustrating encounters recently (and I'd rather not play until CIG gets in-game-purchased ships persisting across updates consistently).
With that said, I am very much looking forward to all the tractor beam enhancements/changes. I'm just a big fan of all the goofy and gimmicky things you can do with tractor beams. I'm also excited for the SRV; I want to build scrap yards and yeet asteroids at people.
Thanks @Arorus@lemmy.world for creating this community! I've been playing Genshin since it came out.
If it's not too big of an ask, can we get an intro from you, @Arorus@lemmy.world? Just something like past moderating history, what your plans/goals for this Genshin community moving forward, etc.
Nice! Is there a public Discord server for Beehaw? I can't seem to find a link to one.
I'm yet another reddit refugee. Just wanted everyone to know that there's a combination emoji for a bee wearing a cowboy hat:
