This is a crime. The GOP are advocating disenfranchisement, which is a criminal act. They are pushing to commit additional crimes against Americans.

Most Americans aren't in the Epstein files. People in power don't want the Epstein files released.

For me, I want the war to end with Russia leaving Ukraine the hell alone. I'm not an expert on geopilicital military strategy, but it seems like the people fighting for Ukraine want any intel that helps them repel the invasion force. Striking within Russia's borders might force Putin to withdraw and defend his own country rather than murdering civilians in another country.

It might not work. It might ratchet up the violence, and it might result in the suffering and death of innocent people. I don't want that, but I'm not in a position to say that "this" makes that outcome more or less likely.

What is it that you want instead?

I think that's the AI function that would be most valuable to me. Just have an assistant on my phone building a catalog of resources and tasks on my to do list and creating priority lists. "Can you help me remember where I left the miniature paints?" "I'm afraid I can't do that. You haven't finished spackling and painting that spot in the bathroom."

Yeah, I just switched to Jellyfin because of the Plex updates to their accounts, but I miss Plexamp. I considered running both Jellyfin and Plex just for plexamp, but I'm wary that they might eventually paywall remote audio streaming, too.

Like, Imagine you had a van. The van has passengers, and you're one of them, but you're way in the back. The driver can't hear you and doesn't care what you want or where you want to go. Then a new driver comes in and takes the van offroad. They drive in the wrong direction, and they keep hitting potholes and pedestrians and shit. Some of the people in the back are hootin and hollerin like it's some awesome roller coaster, and also they hate the pedestrians and like when they are killed. And you're like, please, just stop.

And then the driver threatens to turn the car off.

I mean, yeah, you need the aircon, and it would be nice to be going somewhere, but the driver is definitely not going in the right direction, and the longer he drives, the more damage he does to the van.

Right now the government is worse than shut down. It's actively doing bad things. I'd rather the government start doing good things, but that's not currently an option available to me.

Same, except we didn't go see it because of the 3 hour runtime.
