There’s plenty that can be done. You just risk getting shot. And yeah, that’s really scary, but that guy just got kidnapped. You’re not a hero for yelling at the kidnappers as they drag them away.

If we’re going to fight fascism, y’all are going to have to make peace with the fact that some of us are going to get shot.

No, he did not defend that guy at all. He yelled while allowing the kidnapping to continue, despite not a single one of them identifying themselves.

Because they’re stupid. Same people who think we just need to vote in Dems to stop ICE, even though Dems keep voting to increase ICE funding, and Dems issued a public thank you letter to ICE agents when the raids started.

Unfortunately for Mamdani, leftists are typically well-informed. But they made Mamdani support fashionable, and there’s no candidate further left than him, so I think they’re counting on him hanging onto enough of the original base.

It’s a stupid move though, that’s cost many Democrats their election. And even if he wins, his policies will naturally have to be more centrist, because now he won’t have the energized base to support leftist governance.

We’re too obsessed with the cult of personality in this country. It’s very difficult to get anyone to turn on a candidate, once voters decided they like the person. People don’t like admitting they were wrong, so a candidate really has to do something extreme to lose support they’ve gained, and make anyone re-evaluate.

Mamdani’s team knows this. Which is why he’s racing to compromise everything, hoping to add moderates to his base.

Considering Democrats unanimously voted for a national Charlie Kirk holiday, I think it’s safe to say they’re not gonna lift a finger to oppose this move. We’re on our own.

The problem is that you Blue MAGAs support fascism, too, but you believe yourselves better than the Red MAGAs because you like fascists with a commitment to decorum. And you project that onto the rest of us, so you think our rejection of these Democrats is simply a rejection of decorum. Just like the Red MAGAs, you cannot even conceive of any “good American” rejecting your party’s fascism. And probably, just like them, you don’t actually pay attention to the policies you’re really supporting. You just treat it like team sports.

What’s your issue? Nothing about the statement is inaccurate. Though it is missing a lot of context, such as it was Clinton who ordered the pied piper strategy to elevate Trump to the nomination, so she shares a lot of the blame.
