  • You obviously did not read the actual article. It says the facilities have been long closed. It also admits they lied about the cultural erasure claims, and that now China’s celebration of Uyghur culture is a bad thing.

  • Yes, and I’m accurately describing it. Admitting they didn’t have proof of genocide, then doubling down on the lie again. They’ve since abandoned even those claims, because the facilities no longer exist.

Which is why there are no current sources to reference. You’re pushing a 10 year old lie that even the west gave up on.

  • You’re pushing a years old propaganda campaign, which even western intelligence doesn’t push anymore, because it was all debunked and the facilities no longer exist. You’re repeating stale claims of oppression of people who have since been reintegrated and are thriving at the present moment, and refusing to acknowledge their current well-being because it’s too flattering for China.

Someone recycling abandoned state propaganda from 2015 isn’t really in a position to accuse anyone of cope. LoL.

  • They didn’t “abduct people for their beliefs.” They had to reeducate a population that had been radicalized by western intelligence. Now the facilities no longer exist, they’ve been reintegrated, and the west was forced to admit they had no proof of their claims.

  • They literally invented a diabetes cure, and the US is banning it to maintain insulin profits. They win healthcare.

I don’t see how corporations being allowed to buy up 1/3rd or US housing inventory is any indicator of how people manage their money.

  • No Stupid Questions @lemmy.world

How can you oppose tariffs, while supporting a hardline against China on Taiwan?
