This is accurate lol
Your info is out of date, now the cia is pushing "cultural genocide" because "genocide" was remarkably uncredible. Remember the delegations of Muslim countries to the region?
Incredible if you believe tankie news sources, maybe?
Hong Kong was a British colony that is part of mainland China. They're Chinese. Integrating them into the wider system is a step in erasing the legacy of colonialism in China.
Integrating...by force. Sounds like they are continuing the legacy of colonialism to me. "They're Chinese" lol, they were perfectly happy existing with their freedoms intact. But I guess the CCP feels that they own all the Chinese people and have a right to subjugate them?
Literally name a country that doesn't do this lol. Here in the US local police have off the books torture and indefinite detention facilities
There's a difference between rogue behavior at a local scale and official policy at a country-wide scale.
Now if only they could do all that stuff without committing genocide, crushing Hong Kong, black-bagging dissidents, etc etc
Honestly surprised eggs aren't higher across the board
Shhh if we tell them it hurts GDP, billionaires might start actually paying attention
What company? Sounds like dog shit, name em and shame em
IIRC:
Science: Blue
Math: Red
English: Black
History: Yellow
Spanish: Green
Are you saying there's a Balrog down there
only when there is an imminent danger will they engage.
Are there different definitions of "imminent danger" or something
Scraping for racism.
These people's obsession with "bloodlines" is astounding. The world isn't fucking Naruto
Yes, quite flaccidly.
Won, but for some reason South America was very upset with me.
100% agree. Genshin is grindy AF
The Valheim one that organizes shit in boxes for you
”debunked"
paywall article
sketchy source
"Wiki" where all the source links are CGTN or other CCP things
Sure.
Received this email. Blech.
Dear Prime member,
We are writing to you today about an upcoming change to your Prime Video experience. Starting January 29, Prime Video movies and TV shows will include limited advertisements. This will allow us to continue investing in compelling content and keep increasing that investment over a long period of time. We aim to have meaningfully fewer ads than linear TV and other streaming TV providers. No action is required from you, and there is no change to the current price of your Prime membership. We will also offer a new ad-free option for an additional $2.99 per month* that you can sign up for here.
For example, my user/profile is based in beehaw, but I subscribed to this community on lemmy.ml. When I view this community, it says I'm joined. But in my list of subscriptions (in both Jerboa and the Beehaw website), it only shows my local (Beehaw) subscriptions.
Is there a list of "external" subscriptions anywhere?
Also, is it possible to subscribe to all communities on an instance? Lemmy is small enough that it'd be easier to just selectively unsubscribe, I think.
