  • I do have a Mastodon account, but like Twitter I don't really enjoy the format. I'd rather discuss on a specific topic in a Lemmy post with some kind of hierarchical structure which serves as context.

  • I'm gradually swapping my lawn for clovers. More resilient to weather, doesn't need a lot of water, stops most weeds from growing and make those pretty white-purpleish flowers when blooming.

And I don't put any chemicals.

  • That will be Trump's body in his grave once the US goes full-communism.

  • Happy to not give a dime to Ellison / Kushner.

  • I guess someone could post a thumbnail of the article's picture with a QR code leading to the article as a workaround.

  • Altered Carbon. Season one was top-notch, season two brought all the nails to shut that coffin.

  • I mostly want an ON button, and that AI stuff is always disabled by default. Make me opt-in to it, not opt-out.

  • Would be great if pinned shortcuts and collections would get synced as well.

  • Cryptomator is made with cloud storage in mind, but it would still do the job.

  • I need muh fonts to have appendages or I feel weak.

  • I'd find other stuff to improve on. If the employer provides access to an online-based training platform (ex: Coursera, Udemy) I'd enroll in some trainings I may find useful for either my current position or another I'd like to have.

There's no better time to learn than while being paid at work, without having to deal with the daily grind.

  • Only if the water is labelled as coming from the Gulf of Mexico.

  • At least I get to keep the delisted games I bought in my account DRM-free.

  • At that price I'm still intrigued, despite the device eventually becoming e-waste. Hopefully when the ring stops working they'll have iterated on a better version with a swappable coin-cell battery or something.

  • Social security is the kind of thing that everyone should be glad to pay, and crosses their fingers they'll never need it.

I'd rather have a part of my income goes there and have the ability to bounce back if life gives me lemons, instead of ending up in a bottomless spiral of poverty I have no hope to get out of.

  • That's for planned maintenances, a faulty memory module isn't something you want to keep using for long :)

  • If you vote based on the name of the party instead of what they offer, you reap what you sow.
