Exactly right, a lesson I've tried to hammer home to my kids (and even adults who act like kids), trust takes a long time to establish, but can be destroyed in no time, sometimes irretrievably. These rich assholes are so entrenched in the USA USA USA exceptionalism that they can't fathom that the whole world might not just kneel before us. Well, they (and we) are surely finding out. So much/most of these "billionaire's" wealth is the stock market, which is to a large degree based on feels, and that requires stability and confidence/trust, all of which is being absolutely demolished. Fucking hilarious how they all bent the knee for tax cuts and influence, and are likely going to see most of their "wealth" vanish into thin air. I hope they can find no peace anywhere on Earth for the rest of their days.
