  • I don't think they'd do this because it's to their benefit to track you. There are certain radio stations here (common owner) that are constantly promoting their app and streams. I get the impression they would rather you listened via them then broadcast.

Personally I stick to broadcast for my radio, especially in the car where it's much more reliable.

  • Same way you do with Lemmy communities from Lemmy.

  • Ah, cool, I thought you might query the server to find out what it is, but if it's a static list it makes sense that things would get missed.

  • Just seems to be this one. Length looks like it might be being picked up as 00:00? The log looks normal:

  • I went back to that post and it still isn't playing 🙁

  • Emphasis on the trusted. They also need to trust you, no back seat driving.

If the OP isn't going far then this shouldn't be required - just ditch the car somewhere and walk back if necessary.

It's a lot easier to fiddle with controls and work stuff out if there isn't somebody observing.

  • You mentioned drivers. One of the nice things about Linux is that most old hardware still works. I had an ancient scanner which barely supported Windows 7 (I think it was OK on 32-bit, not on 64-bit). Linux still supports it.

  • I keep chucking my free Google Play credits at it when they are about to expire, for the same reason! I'm currently paid up to 2030 😀

  • I got Heat for Christmas so I've only played one practice lap so far. Need to play that again.

  • Faraway is excellent! It also doesn't take very long to play, so it's the current go-to when time is limited.

Playing cards in one order and scoring them in the other is fun!

  • Could be, but I don't think I've been on it all year. I don't use BGA much as a I find the silly time limits on taking turns annoying.

  • I didn't read your other post until just now. There are a lot of comments and I'm sure everything has been said already. First things first, if you struggle to see over the steering wheel, get a cushion (some cars have height adjustment on the seats so check that too). If that then means you can't reach the pedals you may need a smaller car. Being able to see and reach the controls is the most important thing.

Beyond that, go slowly, take short trips on empty roads or around car parks to build up confidence and work your way up. No passengers!

  • Oh my god, that sounds horrendous. I hate driving up single track lanes at the best of times, worse if they are up mountains with potentially large drops each side. Then a car coming the other way. My anxiety is spiking just thinking about it. This is not the way to make somebody more confident! I've been driving for around 25 years btw.

  • Mine.

I'm not sure why Can't Stop is on there as I've only played it on Yucata and it hasn't been on there for a few years. Maybe some missing plays imported and have ended up being attributed to this year.

  • 😆
