Basically it's still up to the local councils to some extent, they just have to collect the same things as each other. What bins you get, how many, what combination of items goes in each, etc, are still location dependent.
Round here I think all it'll mean is glass will now be collected. They have to justify combining certain types of recycling so it may also mean separate bins for things that are already recycled.
I don't think they'd do this because it's to their benefit to track you. There are certain radio stations here (common owner) that are constantly promoting their app and streams. I get the impression they would rather you listened via them then broadcast.
Personally I stick to broadcast for my radio, especially in the car where it's much more reliable.
Thanks! I see the one in the example I posted is now tagged correctly, however I've just come across the one in this post which isn't: https://libretechni.ca/post/646109
You mentioned drivers. One of the nice things about Linux is that most old hardware still works. I had an ancient scanner which barely supported Windows 7 (I think it was OK on 32-bit, not on 64-bit). Linux still supports it.
Hasn't helped 🙁. I think I might have more options now but that particular community still isn't showing up!
