I'm reading Thrawn: Traitor (Thrawn Canon books #3). Not the greatest series I've ever read by any means but I need a break from the Stormlight Archives Ave my library had no wait on these.
The older I get the more I prefer linear games. I'm playing FFXVI right now and I'm actually quite happy at how linear it is. Couldn't finish XV because the map was too damn big.
Yes, it's called Pieces. I've gone mostly just for drinks because they have good cocktails but I did go with a group to play a little Cards Against Humanity once. My friends live way out in the suburbs and I live in the city so they don't come here to go out much.
My unpopular opinion is that Mass Effect 1 is the best game in the series. 2 was a giant side mission, and 3 was great but, the ending (which isn't as bad to me as it was to others). I keep going back to the first one (24th playthrough now) because it's more of an RPG than a shooter and had the best story of the 3.
LevelCap has a great video about how 3 guys made a better battlefield game then EA/DICE. I had fun the one night I've gotten to play so far but I was kind of drunk so I didn't do very well. I'm a Battlefield player of many years and it's the most fun I've had playing since 4.
My wife went out of town for a weekend so I decided to re-up Gamepass and download a bunch of stuff, mostly older games. What ultimately brought me back into actively wanting to play was Dragon Age Origins, a game I beat several times but a long time ago.
I have yiffi.net blocked (the whole instance) and yet that shit still shows up on the bottom right of my page under "random posts." Any idea how to stop it from appearing there as well?
Oh God. About 6 years ago I was in Pittsburgh for work. I did get to see a Bruins/Penguins playoff game so that was nice, but I was at a Bridge conference (for people who design and build bridges, not the card game). Several hotel employees and taxi drivers warned me that a furry conference was coming the day our bridge conference ended. That was the first time I heard the term "furries". Then they descended upon the city while I was still there. To this day it's still the most intense culture shock I've ever had.
